No. Federal law requires that a firearm be transferred through a licensed dealer in person, after a Form 4473 and a background check. Anyone advertising direct-to-door firearm delivery to a non-licensee is either lying or breaking the law. Ammunition, magazines, optics, and gear can ship straight to you, subject to your state's rules — and if your order mixes both, the accessories ship immediately while the firearm waits for your appointment.

If it is in stock at the distributor, it is usually in our hands within two to five business days. We call or text the day it arrives and get you scheduled. The appointment itself runs about twenty to thirty minutes unless a NICS check gets delayed. Realistically: under a week from click to in your hands.

A delay is common and usually clears within three business days; we will hold the firearm and call you when it proceeds. If you are denied, we refund the purchase price of the firearm. On an outside transfer that gets denied, the transfer fee is still due — our work is already done — and return shipping to the seller is billed at cost plus a $35 handling fee. If you believe a denial is an error, you can appeal to the FBI through their UPIN process; we can point you at the form but cannot appeal for you.

If the address on your license is stale, bring a supplemental document — a vehicle registration, a voter registration card, or a state-issued CCW. An Arizona CCW also exempts you from the NICS check in most cases, which speeds things up considerably. Payment is cash or card; we do not take personal checks.

We will send our signed license directly to your seller, usually the same day. Ask them to write your full name on the outside of the box or on the packing slip; unlabeled guns sit in our safe until we track down whose they are.

Free for 14 days from the day we notify you it arrived. After that it is $10 per week. Firearms left unclaimed for 90+ days may be treated as abandoned per written notice. If something comes up, just tell us — we are reasonable about it, we just cannot store guns indefinitely for free.

Once is nothing, life happens. After two missed appointments without notice we will ask for prepayment on future work. A text takes ten seconds and saves us both the trouble.

Only if they are the actual buyer. Buying a firearm for someone else who is paying for it is a straw purchase — a federal felony for both people involved. Buying a gun as a genuine gift is legal; buying one with someone else's money and handing it over is not. We refuse any transfer that appears unlawful, that decision is non-negotiable, and shipping costs are not refunded.

Individual eForm 4 approvals have generally been running 30–90 days, a dramatic improvement over the year-plus waits of a few years ago. Trust filings can take longer because every responsible person on the trust has to be vetted. We will give you the current realistic estimate when you file, not a marketing number. Because we are a Class 2 SOT, prints, photos, and the eForm all happen here at your appointment — and filing assistance is included, not an add-on.

No. It stays in our NFA vault until the stamp is approved. That is not our rule — possession before approval is a federal offense. You will have paid for it, and it is legally yours, but it lives here until the ATF says otherwise.

An individual filing is simpler and usually faster, but only you can legally possess the item. A trust lets your spouse or other named people possess it too, and simplifies inheritance — at the cost of a longer approval and some setup paperwork. Come talk to us; the right answer depends on your situation, and we are not going to upsell you into a trust you do not need.

Several states require a permit, a face-to-face transfer, or a licensed intermediary for ammunition. Rather than guess, we block shipping to those jurisdictions outright. The current list is on our restrictions page, and the cart flags a problem before you pay, not after.

Before you sign the 4473, yes — cancel any time for a full refund. After it has been transferred to you it is legally a used firearm and we cannot take it back for a refund. Yes, on most items. Bring credentials to your appointment or email us a verification and we will apply it to your account. Some manufacturers prohibit discounting below MAP — on those we will do what we can on accessories instead.
