Firearm Pickup & Transfers

We are the licensed dealer. Mobscene Tactical LLC holds a Type 07 FFL and a Class 2 SOT. Firearms and NFA items purchased here are not shipped to a third-party dealer and are not shipped to you. Every one is transferred in person at our Mesa, Arizona location.

Appointments. We operate by appointment. When your firearm is in and ready we call or text to schedule. Two missed appointments without notice and we will require prepayment on future work.

At the appointment. Bring a valid, unexpired government photo ID showing your current address; if it is out of date, bring a vehicle registration, voter card, or Arizona CCW as a supplement. You complete an ATF Form 4473 and a NICS background check. Payment is cash or card — no personal checks.

Transfer fees. Firearms and NFA items purchased from us transfer at no charge. Outside purchases shipped to us: $25 for the first firearm, $15 for each additional on the same 4473, $30 for private-party transfers, $75 for NFA items bought elsewhere. Form 4 eForms filing assistance is included with any NFA transfer.

Storage. Free for 14 days after we notify you the firearm has arrived, then $10 per week. Firearms unclaimed for 90 days or more may be treated as abandoned per written notice.

Denied background checks. On an outside transfer, the transfer fee remains due — the work has been performed. Return shipping to the seller is billed at cost plus a $35 handling fee.

Lawful transfers only. We refuse any transfer that appears unlawful, including obvious straw purchases. That decision is non-negotiable and shipping costs are not refunded.

Shipping (Non-Firearm Items)

What ships. Ammunition, magazines, optics, parts, and gear ship directly to your address. Firearms and NFA items never ship — see the section above. If an order contains both, the shippable portion goes out immediately; you do not wait on the pickup appointment.

Processing. Orders placed before 2:00 PM MST on a business day ship the same day.

Cost. Free ground shipping on orders over $99. Under that, ground is a flat $14.95. Heavy items may carry a surcharge, shown at checkout before you pay. Expedited options are available at cost.

Ammunition. Ships ground only, never air. Some carriers require an adult signature.

Tracking. Emailed automatically when the label is created. If a package shows delivered and you do not have it, contact us within 48 hours so we can open a carrier claim.

We do not ship internationally, and we do not ship to freight forwarders.

Returns & Cancellations

Before pickup: cancel any time for a full refund. If you have not signed the 4473, nothing has legally transferred and it is a non-event.

Firearms, after transfer: once a firearm has been transferred to you on a Form 4473, we cannot accept it back for a refund. That is federal law, not a store policy — the moment it transfers it becomes a used firearm and re-selling it requires an entirely different process. If it has a manufacturing defect, that is a warranty claim and we will help you file it and follow up on it.

Ammunition and NFA items: final sale, no exceptions. We cannot verify how ammunition has been stored once it leaves, and NFA items are attached to an approved tax stamp in your name.

Optics, parts, and gear: 30 days, unused, in original packaging with all accessories. Mounted optics with ring marks, installed triggers, and fired barrels are not returnable. Refunds go back to the original payment method within 5 business days of receipt.

Damaged or wrong item: our mistake, our cost. Photograph it, email us within 5 days, and we will send a prepaid label and correct it immediately.

State & Local Restrictions

Because firearms are picked up here in Arizona rather than shipped across state lines, most interstate transfer questions do not arise. Two things still matter.

Your state of residence governs the firearm you take home. Federal law permits a non-resident to buy a long gun in person from a dealer in another state only if the sale complies with the law of both states. Handguns generally may only be transferred to a resident of the dealer's state. If you are not an Arizona resident, contact us before you order — we will tell you plainly whether we can complete the transfer.

Shipped items still follow destination law. The cart flags a problem before you pay:

Magazines over 10 rounds cannot ship to CA, CO, CT, DC, HI, MD, MA, NJ, NY, RI, VT, or WA.

Ammunition cannot ship to AK, CA, CT, DC, HI, IL, MA, NJ, or NY, or requires a permit or licensed intermediary there.

"Assault weapon" statutes in several states restrict specific features and models. A configuration that is perfectly legal to own in Arizona may not be legal to bring home to another state, and a rifle that is fine as sold may become illegal if you change a stock or a grip.

You are responsible for knowing your own local law. This list changes as legislation does. It is maintained in one place in our system and updated when the law moves, but it is a courtesy — not legal advice.

Compliance & Eligibility

By ordering from Mobscene Tactical you certify that:

  1. You are at least 21 years old for handguns and handgun ammunition, or 18 for long guns, long gun ammunition, and accessories.
  2. You are not prohibited from receiving or possessing a firearm under 18 U.S.C. § 922(g) or any applicable state law — which includes felony convictions, domestic violence misdemeanors, active protective orders, unlawful drug use, and certain adjudications.
  3. You are the actual purchaser and are not buying on behalf of another person. A straw purchase is a federal felony for everyone involved.
  4. The items you are ordering are legal for you to possess where you live.

Every firearm transfer requires an in-person ATF Form 4473 and a NICS background check, completed at our Mesa location. We refuse any transaction we believe to be unlawful, and we do not owe an explanation when we do.

Privacy Policy

What we collect. Name, email, phone, shipping and billing address, order history, and — if you create one — your account credentials. If you use our transfer or NFA services, we also hold the records federal law requires us to keep.

What we do not collect. We never see or store full card numbers. Payment data is tokenized by our payment processor and never touches our servers.

How we use it. To process your order, to schedule and complete your transfer, to handle returns and warranty claims, and — only if you opt in — to email you about new arrivals. We do not sell, rent, or trade customer data to anyone, ever. This is a firearms retailer; customer lists are not a product here.

Payment methods. In person we accept cash or card. We do not accept personal checks.

Legal disclosure. ATF-required records (4473s, our bound book, NFA paperwork) are retained as federal law mandates and are available for inspection by the ATF as the law provides. We disclose other customer information only in response to a valid legal process, and we will notify you unless legally barred from doing so.

Cookies. We use them for your cart, your session, and basic aggregate analytics. No advertising trackers, no cross-site pixels.

Your rights. Email us to request a copy of your data or ask for deletion. We honor those requests except for records we are legally required to retain.

Terms of Sale

Pricing and availability. Prices and stock reflect a live distributor feed and can change without notice. An order confirmation is an acknowledgement of your request, not a guarantee — a contract of sale forms when the item ships. If an item is mispriced or goes out of stock between order and fulfillment, we will contact you with the corrected price or cancel and refund.

Taxes. Arizona sales tax is collected on orders shipped within Arizona. Other states are collected where we have a legal obligation to do so.

Warranty. Products carry the manufacturer's warranty. We are not the manufacturer and do not extend our own warranty on distributor items — but we will help you open and pursue a claim.

Limitation of liability. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to the purchase price of the item. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Firearms are inherently dangerous; safe handling, storage, and lawful use are entirely your responsibility.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Disputes are resolved in the state or federal courts of Maricopa County.

Accessibility

We build this site to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA: keyboard navigable, screen-reader labeled, and tested for color contrast. If you hit something on this site you cannot use, email us and tell us what broke — we will fix it and, in the meantime, take your order over the phone.
